Growing under the shadow of the mighty Antarctic Beech, this dainty shrub is far more rare! It occurs on the higher peaks of the Mt Warning caldera, from Springbrook in the north, then west and south along Lamington NP and down to Whian Whian (near Terania Ck) in the south. While also known in a few lower locations like Currumbin Valley and Hogan's Scrub, the forest at Best of All is one of the few places in the world this plant is ‘commonly’ seen.
